"There was a warm and friendly welcome. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. It is a budget hotel, obviously rather old with idiosyncratic shaped rooms and corridors. No lift so if you are on the upper floors and struggle with mobility not for you. The hotel has limited parking at £6.00 per day. Hotel is right on the seafront and only minutes from the town centre and shops. Lounges rather basic and sparse."

"What really made our stay was the service. As we were attending a funeral wake a huge amount of time was spent in the bar area, the staff were amazing and thank you especially to Carol who went that ‘extra mile’ searching for orange slices & special glasses for our daughter!"

"Great new hotel. Perfect stay, only thing to watch is that parking is quite expensive considering it's location - but much cheaper if you pay at time of booking..."

"Hotel was modern and well maintained. Bathroom was to a high standard. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Bar / breakfast area was pleasant. The only fault was that staff whipped the breakfast food away bang on time. They could have given 5 more minutes or asked guests if they would like anything else first. Hotel ideally located for city centre. "

"The Hotel is old......and tired. My room was good. Breakfast was good. Once they have finished all the refurbishments I am sure it will be better."
