And adjoining the hotel is a lovely cafe where I had breakfast in the morning. Quick service and delicious (especially the croissant). I also strolled down to the beach to watch the sunset, a bit of a walk but worth it. "

"Easy hotel to locate and park. A very warm welcome from the host with all procedures well explained. This hotel has an elevator to take bags up to rooms. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size and works well. We slept very well and ate a lovely continental breakfast each morning with espresso coffees. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are considering a return stay. "This is a very nice apartment in central Viana do Castelo, an excellent location. The large apartment I was in was spacious and clean, although I wish it had a work desk and a comfortable chair. My biggest frustration was the poor communication with the property before checking in. I didn't receive any info on how to get the keys, which you have to retrieve from a nearby underground parking garage lockbox.
