"It was overall a good place to stay. Room was spacious. Elevators are throughout the building. It was very cold in temperature in the foyer and the Hudson restaurant. The pool had warm water in it, but the chlorine seemed very strong. Part of my swim suit got bleached out and I had a skin rash that burned my legs after being in the pool 60 minutes. It seems like it needs some freshening up, but would stay again."

"We really like the Mark Spencer. A friend introduced us to it. Located right near Powell’s, it’s an older building and a relief to be in a genuinely decorated hotel rather than chain buildings. Good coffee in the lobby, usable gym, great location. I don’t know if the hotel is backing off the perfumed cleaning products or was proactive with our request to not have scented products used in our room, but it was so appreciated to be in a clean, spotless room that didn’t smell strongly of fragrance....

"Bed the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. Room itself was top notch, living area with dining table and tv was very comfortable. Bathroom was amazing two sinks private water closet and walk in shower with a huge bath tub, big enough for two. Bedroom seriously most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a hotel! View was amazing as well. View was of the convention center and at night the towers from the center lite up and made it seems magical. The only downside is you are in the Lloyd...
