"The Tempi Hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Athens and its attractions, and has an abundance of bars / restaurants on its doorstep. At the end of the day all you need is a bed after a long day exploring, so you definitely get your moneys worth with this place. Please bear in mind there is no people elevator (there is one for luggage) and the single rooms are at the top of 5 flights of stairs, so being fit is advantageous. "Hotel tier was lovely, great staff, clean rooms, 10min walk to the metro station BUT the surrounding area is very unsafe at night. Skid row on the street, needles on grounds and prostitutes on the street corners. Hotel was amazing but the area needs to be taken into consideration when booking"

"Loved that our room had a fridge in it so we could shops for our picnics. Daily cleaning was offered. Was lovely coming back after a long day to freshly made beds. Great that you could hire lockers €2 per use. Staff were friendly and professional. The roof top bar was fab (the cafe bit itself wasnt open) but there was plenty of seating, great place to see ALL the historical sites from one place. Would definitely recommend it. "Friendly staff who lent me tools to fix my luggage. Very convenient and close to all my need - restaurants, shopping, metros, and the most important Acropolis. Super good value if you could climb stairs and don't mind the sharing bathrooms."

"This is a very unique property right in the middle of everything! It appears as a front door entrance at street level but has a variety of rooms in the building. We enjoyed a 2 single bed with a small balcony so you can see the action on the street. Our room was compact but efficient. Nice bathroom with shower. Limited space for suitcases but as I said "compact". Thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine on our little balcony. Heat pump air conditioner, TV although we did not have time to watch....

"If you are travelling in a budget you will not do better then the Sparta Team Hotel. Location is fantastic, Psiri is just a few minutes walk away at the end of the road, and is a fantastic place for eating and drinking options. Omonia Square and the subway are five minutes walk away. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in a great urban location."

"Beautiful area and easy to walk everywhere. The staff were very friendly but the hotel communicated is too much. We had to give them our what's app for our room code to key in, this gave them the ability to send multiple messages a day. Including three about chech out time with one coming in quite early of the morning of our departure which woke me up. The room was modern and clean, however I paid for the balcony which was useless. It was so small you could really only step on it... Don't...
