"This was the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were dirty and the atmosphere was very unsafe. There were drug addicts in my room who told me they were living there permanently. They did all sorts of drugs. Nothing matched the positive reviews, and I felt completely misled. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!"

"The location is great and the value was very good. It is in an area where the partying goes on until late in the morning so perhaps be aware of that if you plan on going to bed early and need quiet."

"A bit hesitant because of the negative comments ive read , but if youre looking for something clean , comfortable and safe on a budget this is the perfect place . I dont have anything negative to say , yes be aware they're stair like everywhere else in the Netherlands its very typical on original buildings. I was a female solo traveler stayed for 4 days and I felt very safe . And the breakfast was very good . "

"I stayed at the Bicycle Hotel for 8 days in what I was told was their smallest room and it was really cute and cozy. The location is super, very close to the metro/trams and city center is very walkable. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Amsterdam!"
