"Excellent little ibis right next to a load of restaurants at the MaxCenter. My only issue is they there is always a lot of English staying before the ferry, but no opportunity to watch any news in English on tv. Most other hotels have this facility so it’s noticeable when not available. Would recommend though"

"Bit of trouble accessing properly at first, as no access code came through!however it was sorted within 10min!by lovely memeb of staff!who worked in bar across road!!otherwise room/cleaning/was all good!Great shower!kitchen down below also good to have and washing machine and drying!only thing i have against is itz a 15 min away from central!so if you're looking to be bilbao itself??on a gd day!lovely walk along river!about 30min?i enjoyed walking along river!though a lot of changes going...

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"The hotel is OK for a one night stay in order to take the ferry next day. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable enough. Unfortunately it is right next to an oil refinery which polutes the atmosphere. On a very warm night we were unable to leave the window open because of this."

"It is a a good budget hotel. The rooms are clean,tidy and a good size.There is limited parking on site but plenty nearby. No bar or restaurant and the wifi is limited to downstairs. The town offers very little and the only cafe serving food wàs a burger bar."

"The hotel itself is nice enough but after a long day's travelling, we were very annoyed to find out that neither the bar nor the restaurant are open in the off-season so rather than an evening relaxing at the hotel, we had to go into the nearest village where we were lucky enough to find a bar where the landlord was willing to cook us a nice but basic meal to go with a few drinks. The advertised bar and restaurant was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel - we would definitely have...
