"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. "Our trio booked the warm and cozy cottage, with its own parking, 2 comfy bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and lounge, speedy Wi-Fi and private deck, from where we viewed the northern lights (don't forget the key!). The accommodation was immaculate. The shower drained slowly, but we were forewarned of the issue. The breakfast buffet was varied and hearty; don't miss the homemade lamb pâté and jams! "The property is otherworldly and located in a beautiful, natural setting that is just stunning. The owners are wonderful and breakfasts are great. We will definitely go back. While it is in an isolated area, it is only a 20 minute drive to Hofn where there are many excellent restaurants."
