"We would highly recommend staying at La Civetta. We had the Breakfast at Tiffany room and it was amazing. It was really comfortable and right in the heart of Foggia. We found it no problem. The breakfast was a welcome added bonus and a nice way to start the day. "

"This is a beautiful little family run hotel on a side street off a lovely shopping area in Foggia, Italy. The rooms are on the second level and there is no elevator, but they are spotlessly clean and have good air conditioning and a nice airy feeling. The beds are very comfortable and the staff was warm and friendly but only spoke Italian. I brought my 82 year old Italian mother and she adored the staff. "I have stayed here a number of times, never had a bad experience. The european breakfast is substantial. Convenience to train, historic sites, neighborhood restaurants, banking, even upscale retail is just minutes away. I actually look forward to returning, sincerely, I find it that convenient."

"I usually do not write bad reviews. We arrived at 3 pm, the owner was clearly bothered by our presence. He wanted to retain our Ids until the next day—a no go. The room had a temperature of 35 degrees and the a/c did not work. Our complaint was answered tha a/c only is available between 6pm and 5am. The hotel is situated in what looks like a war zone.
