"We stayed here for one night only as we had a late flight into the city and didn’t want the stress of a late transfer across the island. We had a lovely warm welcome at the reception despite the late hour. A very welcome drink and slice of cake in the bar. The hotel is a great piece of old menorca, right on the coast and we were a little sad it was only for one night as I think the hotel would make a great place to explore the city and area from. Rooms are spotless and cool."

"Predominantly a remote run hotel so you come and go as you please, very much a home from home. The staff are always around for a few hours in the morning and they maintain a spotless hotel. Room cleaning daily but optional by way of a card on the door. There is a 24hr contact point should you require anything. "The location is not in a walking distance from anywhere but everyone rent a car there. The big issue is that the hotel is smoking friendly and all the rooms have a ashtray. I was asked to move to another bedroom (the first bedroom wasn't smelling too bad) on the last day and couldn't sleep at all because of the strong smell of cigarettes everywhere and the air conditioning didn't work. "Small hotel with need of a little tlc, but being of such an age it is to be expected - some would say old fashioned. Staff were excellent and being only guests for some of our visit we received excellent service. It was a pity that it was not busier. Simple breakfast but tasty. Lovely pool area and pool. Hotel is located on outskirts of Es Castell with a 10-15 minute walk to port. We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank Julian, Benni and Laura for being so attentive to our needs."
