"Property was clean and mostly quiet, staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, overall great value for money and I would stay again. The only thing I did not like was the mattress, which was quite uncomfortable due to the springs being old and not working properly (incl there being a dip in the middle of the mattress where I'm guessing the majority of people would have sat)."

"Hotels was in a great location and suited my needs. The room although only a single was spacious and comfortable and equipped with everythihg you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness suite was great and had the use to it during my stay. The joined restaurant was spot on with a good selection of meals. Even a complimentry drink. "Wonderful country house hotel in about 200 acres of stunning grounds. Lots of outdoorsy things to do. The sitting rooms are glorious with open fires and the staff are attentive and there are lots of little touches that make the hotel stand out. The food is excellent, eat in the Great Western Restaurant if you can. Breakfast excellent. "

"Stayed for 2 nights with my 10 year old daughter and nearly 80 year old mother and both felt catered for and had a lot of fun. "A great hotel to stay to break out travelling up. Staff accommodated our late arrival. Breakfast was good, bed was comfy, staff were friendly. My only jiggle was that our room was cold when we arrived at 11:30pm and was cold through the night. "
