"The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. I can not remember meeting a hotel staff member this friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and served up on a rooftop...

"Dark dingy accomodation in run down area of Catania. Toilet very poor. Staircase dangerous with broken steps. Entrance door hard to find, run down and not inviting. Stayed for 5 mins then left to find somewhere better. Photos on Hotel.com website are misleading. dont think should be on Hotels.com listings. Really, really disappointing. "

"The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."

"We werden vanwege een 'technisch probleem' in een ander appartement ondergebracht, bijna 200 meter verderop, langs een zeer drukke weg zònder voetpad. Het 'technische probleem' bleek een dubbele boeking te zijn....... "Breakfast was make your own coffee and a box of Twinkie things in a cupboard, so the full breakfast ad was a complete lie. We had to wait about 25 minutes outside on dark street before someone came to let us check in, and no invoice was available (but he did write receipt). Nice staff, but this place was hard to spot and not honest in its advertising. "

"Une arrivée un peu houleuse car la réservation avait été zappée mais finalement et heureusement, la chambre était libre et le petit-déjeûner nous a été offert pour les 3 nuits. L'endroit est très central, très bien situé, très agréable pour aller se promener, faire du shopping, visiter... La chambre est spacieuse, pas de nuisances particulières mais nous y étions au mois de mai. Le seul bémol serait la salle de bains."
