"Absolutely perfect location for anything you would want to do in Manhattan. The only issue I had with the hotel itself is that it’s a bit outdated, the heat is extremely hot and you feel like you’re in a sauna. Our window was slightly cracked, and a draft was coming in, so it was a bit hard to regulate the temperature. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was just right for what we needed."

"The hotel's facade and lobby are simply old school gorgeous! Clearly a lot of history here. Our check-in was swift, and the man who checked us in was thoughtful and kind. Unfortunately, the heater in our initial room was broken, and it took some time to get a manager then maintenance in there. It could not be repaired with us in the room, but the maintenance guy said the front desk would call us shortly with the new room number. "The room was AMAZING! We were on the 16th floor with fantastic views of the Chrysler building in a business executive sweet offering a formal living space, mini fridge, microwave, walk-in closet, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, and large bedroom. Definitely recommend! The staff was also extra accommodating and super friendly from check-in to check out."

"The hotel is really cool and in an excellent location. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was always cleaned really well. The hotel bar is awesome with a really great vibe and the lobby was also a nice place to hang out with the family. The only problem is there were no garbage cans in the lobby so we had to leave our trash on the table. "As others state, elevators cause delays. Their system works off peak, but when breakfast or check-in, its a nightmare. Also, getting any answer from staff was relatively non-existant. They will try to rush you at breakfast, simply due to volume. Location was the draw for me, and it was a good choce in that matter."
