Historic Altstetten is part of Zürich's 9th district, and there is plenty to do and see. The neighborhood is home to a variety of bars and restaurants as well as several high-end international hotels. Altstetten was once a city in its own right, but was incorporated into Zürich proper in 1934. Nearby highlights include the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, where you can marvel at 19th and 20th century posters and everyday design objects, and the Schweizer Finanzmuseum. Altstetten is served by several IR train lines.

Pets are welcome, though weight limits and breed restrictions apply and may incur fees.

A security deposit of CHF2700 is required at booking, which will be returned within 2-4 weeks after the check-out, minus any deductible damages.
