The only con is a fairly large cash deposit which must be left, although they offer you to leave this in your local currency which is a nice touch so you’re not stuck with a huge amount of foreign currency at the end of your stay. "We had a great time at VILLA MIA and met very polite and helpful hosts. Immediately when we arrive it was evidently that everything in this estate is indeed in perfect condition. The both hosts love their beautiful house and its big garden, this is obvious. As described, there is a heated pool, and it had 28 degrees celsius even in October. Every maintenance including the pool was done early in the morning, we never saw anybody doing this but it was done. During our time (3rd week in October) we...

"The apartment is spotless, the beach is 10-15 minutes walk. It’s very private and a bit further away from the central locations, so if you are looking for night life, it’s not ideal for you. You have to drive 5-10 minutes to the centre of Vir. It was perfect for us to be out of the centre with two dogs. :) totally recommended."
