"Wonderful hosts Beautiful area"

"We stayed in the cottage for a week during July. We were lucky enough to have beautiful summer weather and enjoyed sitting out early morning and late afternoon in the quiet garden listening to the birds chirping. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms and showers (one upstairs and one downstairs). The stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep and may be challenging for an older person. The village is approx. 2km from the cottage where we found a delicious bakery! A car is definitely required and we enjoyed day trips to Ghent, Bruges and Brussels (approx. 1 hour drive to each) with a special day visiting the World War I museum at Ypres and paying our respects at the Tyne Cot Commonwealth Cemetery. "

"Lovely guest house, immaculate, very good breakfast. Could park motorbike out of view from the road. Shame the cafe just up the road was closed, so we had the venture out for evening food"

"Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. "
