The hotel is just outside of Manizales, so it was easy to get into the city with our rental car and close to other sites in the area as well. Great value for the price. Would definitely recommend it."

"We had a wonderful time and aside from the haute-cuisine quality, Nora and Jorn's warmth make you ponder when the next visit will be. Our door knob broke just before we arrived, but as our visit took place on a holiday, we're sure that that minor issue has been taken care of. We'll go back to El Lugar Nórdico. We loved the place, its cleanliness and how we were able to rest and forget about city noises, work, or even television (we didn't bother)."

When we came earlier than expected, they've found solutions for us. When we didn't know what to do in the next days, they gave us amazing contacts and advices so that we enjoy our moment in Salento and the Cocora valley. The room are clean, the breakfasts are to die for and the moments shared with them will forever be in our memories. Thanks a lot Sonia !"

"The hotel is beatiful, the room was clean and perfect for 2 people. The only problem we had with the room was that the bathroom had a leak and the floor was full of water after you took a bath. The staff is extremely nice and caring. It had a great pool and an amazing open area for kids to play. It is relatively close to El parque del cafe. I will definetly stay here again."
