Raven Rock - 31 Acres, HOT TUB, Stream, fire Pit, Private, High Speed Internet

Raven Rock features 3BR, 3Bath, full kitchen, two level living area, TV, Internet, Netflix, DVD player, central heat and air. It also has a gas fire place in the living room. Come and enjoy our new six person hot tub! You can relax in the hot tub in the evenings and enjoy beautiful sunsets, the sound of the creek and all of natures sounds. Please see the pictures uploaded on this website. The fire pit is a great place to hang out and have S'mores. Fire wood is provided. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots & pans, place mats, cloth napkins, paper towels, trash bags, and lots of serving dishes. Just bring your groceries! Bathrooms have plenty of towels, washcloths, hand towels, and a blow dryer. This is a new remodel! Very secluded! Cell service is patchy. The drive way is a gravel road! You will want to drive a vehicle that has at least 5 or so inches in clearance! In the winter months it would be a good Idea to have FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE or ALL WHEEL DRIVE!! Sometimes we get winter weather.
Hendersonville has so many places to visit and hike, DuPont Forest, Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg Home, Chimney Rock, Historic Downtown Hendersonville, and Historic Downtown Saluda. Winter in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina not only has its own special beauty, but also offers a whole lot of fun. Western North has six ski resorts all within 1 to 2 hours away: Cataloochee Ski Area, Ski Sapphire, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain and Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Brevard is a must see and only 55 minutes away. The Brevard area offers many opportunities to listen to folk, bluegrass, rock and indie music. The area attracts many musicians. Brevards Main Street offers quaint local shopping.
Convenient access to many biking, hiking and waterfall trails is nearby. Also during the season you can travel down the French Broad river by canoe or kayak. Fly fishing is available in the area. Golf is available as well. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 55 minutes away. If you're into craft beer there are several good breweries in our area including Oskar Blues and Sierra Nevada. Also Bold Rock cider is located nearby with many good ciders available. Most breweries offer live entertainment and food trucks. Just a helpful reminder the drive way is a one lane gravel road. Just installed a new home generator! Never worry about going on vacation in the mountains and loosing power again.

Great stay at secluded property - serene peaceful and all natural - Host Jeffrey is very responsive and helpful - listing is very accurate- lack of cell service is true but the wifi works well enough - try and arrive before sundown to make it easier to identify road up to house - hoping to come back agains soon- all around 5 stars

A week of solitude
At first we were hesitant, driving down a narrow gravel road but was pleasantly surprised once we arrived at the house. Definitely an oasis of solitude. The view is amazing.

What a lovely weekend getaway! Come prepared so that you don’t have to leave the property…but if you do decide to meander…Downtown Hendersonville was a delight. Don’t miss out on Flat Rock Grill for the best Ribs around!!

We were thoroughly impressed with this house on the creek! We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor areas immensely. The quiet and solitude can't be beat. The home has been remolded and it's so lovely. Nice hideaway with room to roam
We spent time at this property and enjoyed it a lot. It was 2 grandchildren, son, daughter in law, 2 grand dogs and myself. Plenty of room to roam and no others around you. The stream provided nice sound and scenery. The home itself was well equipped and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Birthday getaway in the mountains
As most other reviewers have stated, the creek is what really makes this property extra special! It is peaceful, serene, and relaxing with mountain views. The stairs allowed my 70+ yr. old mother access from the house down to the creek. Our pup loved the area as well given there was so much room to explore. We were here celebrating a birthday, and this spot provided the perfect place.

Peaceful, serene, & relaxing. The perfect place to get away & recharge! Lights weren't working around the hottub, but that didnt impede us from utilizing it. The view is beautiful. Even saw a turkey crossing the creek, while having coffee one morning!

Beautiful Property
The property itself is beautiful, from the home we stayed at to the sound of the stream you can seat by the fire pit and talk and enjoy the views. The bedrooms were big the beds were comfortable and each room had a bathroom. This is a great way to put the world on hold and enjoy your time together as a family oh don’t let me forget that big hot bubbly HOT TUB . The only thing that I would recommend if you stay there get there before it turns nighttime because it was hard to find the right road to get to the house and we kept having to turn around in peoples driveways and it is located deep in a wooded forest area.

Amazing Property
This is an amazing and beautiful property. We had a wonderful, very relaxing family stay here. The house is very spacious and nice. The creek area with fire pit was heavenly. Kids loved playing in the creek, building dams, searching for rocks and craw fish etc. We had some unusually cooler weather for the Memorial Day weekend so the hot tub was very nice to have, especially to come home to after white water rafting on the Green River. We will be back!

Amazing Family Trip
My family and I which included my elderly parents, their dog, brother and his dog, husband and my 3 year old son, had an amazing time. It was just what we were looking for and provided so many great memories. The house was great, super clean with full kitchen, games, and grill. We had an issue with the grill and the owner was there in time to fix it. He is a super nice down to earth guy with amazing stories about the area. The hot tub was ready to go when we got there and was a real treat to watch stars. We all enjoyed walking the property and the Creek. It was beautiful! It's close to so many great site seeing areas. This is definitely going into our favorites list!

Wow. Absolute peace and serenity!
This property is exactly as stated. Secluded, quiet, peaceful and accommodating. Our 2 dogs could roam freely on our walks and run through the large, grassy areas. The home had all we needed and when the propane tank ran out the property manager was there same day to replace it. Such a nice young man! We really enjoyed chatting with him about the area. One of my favorite times was sitting by the warm bonfire down by the stream and watching our boys kick the soccer ball around on the beautiful land. We would love to visit this property in the summer time and fish in the stream which outlines the back of the property. Total serenity!

43rd Anniversary
We wanted a quiet natural place to spend a long weekend and this was it. The driveway is not paved, but this is where your journey begins. About a mile later you've arrived. The white noise of the swift stream out back was like being at the beach and listening to the waves. The beds were firmly comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and other essentials. I'm one to hand wash everything we are going to use but I didn't find anything that looked unclean. The home was great for us but a family would enjoy the space even more. The location is very convenient to get to neighboring towns. We highly recommend this property.
