"Everything was great!! I really recommend it."

"This is a lovely hotel with good amenities. We'd definitely stay here again. The staff are excellent, especially the housekeeping folks, and the place is very well maintained. The only down sides were that 2 of 3 elevators in our building were out of service, and the food at the buffets was almost always lukewarm at best. The 3 fine dining restaurants were all very good. The town of San Jose del Cabo is about ½ hour walk away on good sidewalks, and it's a very interesting town to walk around. There's a good coffee shop about a block from the hotel too, if you want decaf or something special that's not available onsite. The ocean has big waves, so it's not really swimmable, but we did see whales almost every day we were there!"

"This was our second stay at Paradisus in The Reserve. Food was very good at the various restaurants, except for Tomeiko. We had miss there one night and didn't go back. The quality and variety of food seemed improved over last year: the Fresco good truck now offers tacos or cold options (ceviche) on alternating days. Really enjoyed the various ceviches offered at Agua Marina for lunch (and the views can't be beat). As well, really enjoyed the authentic sopes cooked fresh at Malva during breakfast. Staff are excellent. Special shout out to Max and Carlos at the beach. And thanks to our concierge Juventino who was always available and quick with a solution or an answer. Two areas that I think can be improved: 1) How the hotel treats food allergies. You are asked about food allergies on the pre-arrival form and then you are asked again at every-single-meal. When you check in for a meal, the hostess looks you up on the system. It can't be too difficult to have food allergy information on the system so we don't have to keep repeating it over and over and over. I get that they may need to ask every time for liability reasons, but there should be a better way to go about it 2) One night at turndown, the attendant sprayed a fragrance in the room. My wife has scent allergies and it affected her. Given that scent allergies are common, I suggest the hotel should not spray scents in rooms. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. "

"We went in with lower expectations for this resort and were blown away. Yes- the food is not the best (momma Mia down the beach was great and the resort restaurant closest to the beach was great for breakfast). However the location is great, amenities were clean and the view was fantastic. Ubers were cheap into town and to a more “swimmable” beach. We were contacted a week before by Gabriel the Expedia concierge who had a desk in the lobby - and he was outstanding. Honestly made our trip. Upgraded our room, helped when we needed water or a key. But he also found our lost wedding ring! And then coordinated for us to get it back- both Gabriel and Mario were very helpful. Our room had a couch that folded out that was big enough for my daughters (6/8) to share. Over all we really enjoyed our stay. "

"After staying here we realized we’d never actually had a true R&R vacation- this place and the staff are truly exceptional. It’s the most relaxing, fun, beautiful, and luxurious experience. From every staff member being very friendly and thoughtful, the incredible food, the whales swimming in the private beach, the beach cabanas, the comfortable beds, clean and cozy room, the aesthetics of the whole property- the Pools! They allow you to choose what you want- lots of fun to be had, or quiet privacy and relaxation instead, but always delicious food & drinks- we were shocked it was all inclusive. Thank you so much Alexis, Zai, Francisco, Amanda, Oscar, Cesar, Louis, Paulo, and the amazing humans who cleaned our room every day perfectly. If you want to be treated like royalty and have basically butler service all day in a gorgeous setting- this is the place. Can’t wait to be back next year!"
