Every morning in Zihua, down on the beach, dozens of wooden boats slide up onto the sand, heavy with fresh fish. Before long, the fish market comes to life in the early sunlight. Ice buckets emptying, the calls of the fishmongers, people laughing. Local chefs, taco stands, and families alike come down, all milling among the boats to gather their daily catch. For us in Zihua, it´s a timeless ritual – simply part of living here. But for visitors, the fish market is an essential local experience. This is the real town, unpolished.
