New kitchen appliances. Deeded parking space 5A available inside gated property of the Residencias Villa del Sol (RVS). World travelers will enjoy this high-end experience. The choice of local restaurants and dining options provide a wide range of culinary experiences, from simple to sophisticated. The proximity to the beach is perfect for morning, mid-day and magical walks, providing a 'no excuse' setting for fitness in the full Lap-sized pool, walking the beach, or walking to town. Lastly, history buffs can enjoy the nearby pyramid excavations that are being unearthed and the emerging and growing collections in the museum. Whether your preference is to chill and relax, or engage in cultural experiences, the Residencias location is a perfect base to enjoy both. For an optional small extra fee plus cost of groceries payable directly to the housekeeper, you can engage services to enjoy breakfast for two, made to order. For spending the day on the beach, simply call the front office to order chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas and side tables. These will be delivered to your favorite spot on the beach at no extra charge. Food and beverage may be ordered from neighboring hotel (formerly Viceroy Hotel) beach waitstaff, payable in cash or by credit card for hotel food and beverage orders.
There is a friendly outdoor cat that sleeps on the patio , her name is Lorraine and she is vaccinated and spayed just loves to visit. We do supply cat food for the help to feed her. Not guest responsibility. Please enjoy.

La Ropa Condo
The condo was absolutely perfect for the two of us, spacious and with all the required amenities. The large private patio with table and lounge chairs was more than we expected, as was the pool just a few steps away. We tremendously enjoyed being so close to La Ropa beach, where we were able to reserve our own beach chairs for a small daily fee. And last but not least, a shout-out to Guadalupe, the outstanding property manager, who was ready to help out at any moment and make our stay even more enjoyable.

Perfect for us old folks, staying at 5a
We’ve always enjoyed staying at The residencies of Villa del Sol but this was the best of the seven times we’ve stayed there! This unit suited us perfectly because of the easy access for us two eighty year olds. A little troublesome we’re the different levels within the suite which for folks with slight mobility issues III awkward.

Another Fabulous Zihuatanejo Experience!
Our first stay at this condominium but hopefully not our last. Super convenient, spacious property close to The Thompson facilities and with beautiful outdoor space - the photos do not do it justice! Our housekeeper Carolina took wonderful care of us during a bout of food poisoning. We love Zihua like a second home and cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Great place, great location, nice hosts
We stayed for 10 days at Playa La Ropa and truly enjoyed it! La Ropa really is one of the best beaches in the area. Warm water and great restaurants! We enjoyed New Year’s Eve across the street at Loot, which is a fun chic place. Everything turned out great despite the stove not working for Christmas but it all worked out! They were very accommodating handling the situation. We would stay again. Thank you so much!

beautiful property, the condo was great!
The development is a little dated but still very nice. Great location, the ocean is very warm and there are lots of great restaurants close by. The kitchen was well equipped. It would be nice if the in room safe was permanently attached to something. The grounds are very secure and safe I doubt if anyone would get past the front gate! Zihuat is a lovely town and the locals are all very friendly!

Just off the beach and no stairs to climb
Last year we stayed at the Embarc and had so many flights of stairs to climb to get to our room at the top. This year we really enjoyed our short and fairly flat walk to our condo. The condo has a very nice kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom huge. The specs said that there was a washer and dryer in the condo, but when we arrived, the laundry area was locked off. However, the maid Carolina did our laundry, so that was really not a problem. We found beach towels for our use, so could have saved bringing our own. Other people staying at the Residencias were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for good restaurants etc. We love la ropa beach and plan to return next year either to this condo or another if this one is not available.
