"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"It's all about location, and this is a prime one! The unit itself was clean and a great size for the two of us. We like to cook on our trips, and the kitchen was a little sparse, but it was fine, and everything else was great. Hosts were very friendly and helpful (as was their dog - friendly, I mean). "Easy walk to local sites, shops and restaurants. The apartment was quaint and located in a historic house. Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. We tried 4 of her 5 restaurant recommendations. Each one was an excellent dining experience. We had an excellent 8 day stay. The steep stairs would prevent this being a good selection for people with mobility issues. Clean and welcoming."

"I spent too many hours trying to the find the right city and place to stay in Alsace. My family and I were so happy that we booked Nathalie and Emmanual’s apartment. It was quite lovely- both inside and out and Nathalie and Emmanual were so welcoming. Location: absolutely perfect! In the heart of Kayserberg right below the castle and close to restaurants, etc. Loved the view of the castle from the deck and being able to hike to the castle and in the forest right out the front door....
