"Great hotel to stay in when I go visit SIU. I have stayed in a few hotels in yhe area and by far this one is one of the best. Friendly staff, clean, beds and comfortable and always feel safe staying there. Breakfast is also very good."

"Admittedly, Walker’s Bluff Casino is out in the middle of God’s country with little to offer in the immediately surrounding area. However! The casino/ hotel itself is immaculately clean and well staffed with competent friendly staff. Also the entertainment is great (we saw Josh Turner perform there). The restaurants are nice with good food. I would definitely go back again! Great value for money."

"Such a nice hotel even though some things were a little dated everything was kept clean and in good working condition. It was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were especially impressed by the staff running the continental breakfast. The coffee was always hot and the breakfast area itself was incredibly clean. Our room was on the third floor and was quiet and comfortable. Our shower even had great water pressure. There are several restaurants in walking distance and shopping nearby. Both the east and west side of the Shawnee national forest are less than an hour away and the college is even closer. "

"We booked this hotel last minute and we're not disappointed. The room had a comfortable bed and very nice pillows. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the resident cat that has his own house right outside the front door. Would absolutely stay again."

"We were absolutely blown way by the hospitality of the staff - the bartender and the woman that checked us in AND made our pancakes was amazing. We thought they acted like it was their own small business. Additionally the margaritas were amazing, as was the pulled pork. This was our first stay at this Drury Inn but it won’t be our last! "
