"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"We loved this place... I just wish they provided good directions on how to get there! Between addresses being in Euskara and roads not well identified we had a hard time following the GPS as it kept wanting us to go into a private road that lead no where other than a house. Once we arrived, there was nobody there. We found a nice couple down the street who knew the person in charge and contacted him for us, he then proceeded to give us the code to get into the house. "For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...
