"This was probably the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were greeted by Peter who is a top notch receptionist. He sat with my husband and I for 30 minutes giving us all of the local recommendations and highlighting 3 different maps. The place was warm and cozy, they offered a breakfast basket to be delivered to your room and it was in a great location!"

"Checked out today of this wonderfully located hotel. A helpfully extended checkout (at a reasonable 30Euros allowing us to stay in room until 2pm). We have stayed 3 nights - in a spacious and comfortable room overlooking lake. The staff have been attentive and helpful in an unobtrusive way. Food is excellent both breakfast & dinner. We enjoyed walking around the lake and taking the bus out for trips to Lake Bohinj and Ljubljana - so cheap 1,30 Euros each per journey! Do not miss the castle - a steep walk up but worth it. Go at sunset - truly beautiful."

"We so enjoyed our time staying here. The house is so lovely and spacious and in a wonderful rural location with amazing views! We loved the welcome gifts and supplies of basic things. Our teenage boys had a great time using the pool table and there were so many games and dvds on offer! It really felt like a home. Some reviewers have commented about farm smells but it is a farmhouse within a farming community so this is completely understandable. You will also hear the church bells from the beautiful church next door but neither of these things would put us off returning. It is a perfect base for exploring Slovenia with a car and you can walk into Bled in about 30 mins. Stuart was a great host, providing lots of information and promptly answered any questions we had. We hope to return in the future!"

"The entire facility has been updated and remodeled. The staff were extremely pleasant and the location is great for old town Klagenfurt sites and shopping. The breakfast buffet offering was robust and the fact that it was offered on the fifth floor with large windows overlooking Klagenfurt made it all the more enjoyable. Finally, being able to enjoy a sunset on the rooftop terrace was a great way to end the day."
