"The hotel is a budget hotel. Given the limited options in Zamboanga, the hotel is good, and the price point is very reasonable as well. Don't expect anything fancy; you're not paying fancy prices! The rooms are old but clean, as is the washroom. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location is on the border of a commercial area and somewhat residential area - you will hear noises from the street, but not regularly (might be different for very light sleepers). Short story: I would stay again. "

"All pool staff were on their cell phones and was not very helpful. They locked both pool access doors in the hotel and forced guests to go through the main lobby which is on the other side of the compound. "

"Proprietors and support staff extremely accommodating, encountered an issue whereby I needed to stay an extra night and they kindly allowed me to check in earlier than usual- very helpful toward my situation! If ever in Dipolog City, would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our stay at Dakak resort. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The property was picked up daily, there was always someone available. The grounds show the wear of life on islands with driving wind and rain and mountainous terrain. There was a couple of buildings closed and the walkway along the coast was closed, but there was always signs of revitalization and overcoming natures assault. For a natural vacation with many amenities and staying amongst people with beautiful souls, I highly recommend Dakak beach resort and properties "
