"The inn keeper took really good care of us. We stayed a couple days before a typhoon was predicted to hit the islands and he was concerned about getting us off the island before it hit, even offering to have a friend take us if needed if the ferries got cancelled. Luckily that wasn’t necessary since the ferries were still operating when we needed them but the kindness and concern he showed was unmatched and won’t be forgotten. "

"Friendly stuff and great location.Beautiful beaches are in walking distance. One closest is only a minute away by flipflap walk. We enjoyed snorkeling there on the first day arrived. The water was amazingly clear and there were full of colorful fish. We even saw a turtle swimming by. If you are interested in tasting a bit of island life and enjoying scuba diving/snorkeling, staying Seasir Akajima is recommended. "

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean. "A short 15-20 min walk from the dock or maybe only 5 min on an e-bike, this was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean and it wasn’t a hassle at all to share things like the bathrooms with other guests. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay overnight on Zamami. "

"Great stay at Kerama Beach Hotel, the team there were amazing and looked after our every need. The hotel is situated away from the main town but we were able to use the hotel shuttle bus any time we needed. The food was varied and really excellent. Not a lot happening in and around the hotel but that suited us fine and the surrounding area is great for walking & snorkelling. All in all a lovely stay!"
