"We stayed in villa 9 which is a nice sized studio. It has a very nice, well equipped kitchen and a very good sized bathroom and shower. Very nicely decorated. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs but who doesn’t need a little exercise every day. It had great views of the ocean from the room and blackout curtains for that early morning sun and the rooftop is very nice with gorgeous views as well. There’s a pool on the ground level which my husband enjoyed and it’s just a short few blocks away to get to the beach. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even have a taxi that will pick you up and take you back to whatever town you need. Just ask the hosts to set that up for you. The place is located up a ways on the main road that comes into town. We had a lovely time in chacala but be prepared to climb cobble stone hills. 😃"

"This property was very nice. It had a nice pool area and a very good restaurant. It was on a very small rocky road and we weren't too sure about it until we walked in. The staff didn't speak English but we were able to communicate. It was an easy walk to the beach and shopping."

"I really enjoyed my one month stay at Bungalows Los Flamingos. The whole staff was friendly and helpful, especially Nelson(Father) and Marty ( Daughter) . My room was comfortable and clean. The staff only cleaned my room when I requested it, which is the way I like it. This place is central to both Guayabitos and La Penita, about a 20 minute walk to each town center. They have a small store on the property which is very helpful for the basics. I highly recommend this property if you want to be a little removed from the busier downtown location."

"We were looking for reasonable accomodation short term on short notice. These bungalow studios suited us for 2 nights. Walking distance to everywhere. They were very accomodating with our delayed check in. "
