Chalets in Zabljak

"We stayed here in the shoulder season, to try and do some early spring hiking in the national park. The hosts were amazing, they were extremely knowledgeable of the area and the conditions of the hikes. As well they were able to suggest amazing restaurants and things to do in town. The hotel its self is very well kept, the rooms are clean and the bed is quite comfy. The Spa is small but mighty and has all the amenities that you would need including a wonderful sauna. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to assist guests, one such example is my wife has a dairy allergy and the staff went out of their way to make breakfast items specifically for her substituting the dairy in the recipe for other items. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Zabljak! "

"A great hotel for exploring Durmitor, with friendly staff (especially Paul!) that were able to make recommendations about activities in the area. Ample free parking, which seems to be rare in Montenegro, and a great restaurant serving breakfast buffet and a wide range of menu options at lunch and dinner time. "

"The apartment hosts are very kind, and helpful people, even giving me a lift one day. The apartment was clean, and reasonably spacious with cooking facilities. Just be aware that the apartment is about 1.5km walk from the main town, and about a 3km from the national park entrance (assuming your going to the main lake - Crno Jezero). Parking in the town/national park is difficult and not cheap."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! I booked an apartment in March for April after spending hours looking at potential options. We arrived at the apartment to be told it wasn’t ready and we’d have to go to a hotel in Zabljak instead! The apartment wasn’t ready because it was early in the season! The property is still being advertised as available now! We didn’t stay at the hotel because it was a small room with kitchenette that wasn’t suitable. We found another apartment nearby. The man at SOA Hotel was very unsympathetic and kept saying the hotel room was our best option/best thing for us! Obviously it was the best option for them, not us! We are trying to get a refund but they are refusing! At no point did they try and contact us about the apartment not being ready, if they had we could have arranged something else much sooner! It’s a scam!"
