"i have an absolutely wonderful stay in Kunming Intercontinental. The staffs are very helpful, especially Stacy Chen and Enzo, they helped me at 8pm to get my Skype working for my meeting at 9pm. They helped me plan my stay in Kunming and I got to visit all the interesting spots in Kunming. The cleaning lady noticed that i did not have a pad for my mouse and she got one for me, very observant and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean and with beautiful garden. The room itself was very spacious and well appointed, spotlessly clean, with beautiful gardens and close to a big lake. It was a wonderful place. Natalie Ng"

"Grand Hyatt has a distinctive design to its architecture. Service from Suzanna was excellent. However, when we booked the guestroom, we used the AI Chat to enquire about a rollaway bed and was informed that it’d be inclusive in the room rate. It was not!! When we brought this up, front desk disclaimed it without even checking. Such miscommunications would not have happened if we were talking to a human and not a chatbot. It wasn’t a good experience. I think Hotels.com should take responsibility for such miscommunications. I have thoughts of not booking via Hotels.com once I’ve made full use of my rewards points. "

"Staff is very nice and helpful, the room is roomy for 3 to 4 peoples. I can walk easily to all area with no problem. I only thinks I found is if you stay during winter or cool season heating is very weak ."

Location - it’s a good walk to the ancient town, but the way back needs to go up slope, so better for ride hailing. Hotel service can be better, hotel staff weren’t too helpful when asked for recommendations of places to eat or certain amenities. "

"Second time staying here, THE place to stay in Kunming. Cheap for what you get, you get more than what you pay for, and the breakfast is excellent. Gym is good too, for a hotel gym. Will stay here again, so should you."
