"Very Zen ambience. Lots of rules though. No rules that impacted my stay but some of the rules were strange. Such as if you are drinking and vomit on the bed you pay extra for cleaning. It never occurred to me that this was a hotel issue. Luckily I don’t over indulge and fortunately I didn’t get the flu and get sick in bed so it was a non issue. "GH house is a small, friendly hotel close to the main attractions in Lukang — the beautiful Mazu temple and the old streets of the town. The rooms and clean and roomy and quiet. The manager was very friendly. Breakfast was included, but ordering it was a little complicated and the plate of nuts and fruit may not be everyone’s idea for breakfast. "Great stay, our room has a balcony overlooking the lake that was stunning. It's about 15 minutes to walk to the bus station or pier area where the dining options are. The room was large and bed and shower were great. The family that runs the place are very nice even picked us and and took us back to the bus station. At night it's very peaceful and tucked away from the crowds. Highly recommend this property."
