"I stayed 2 nights and don't normally stay in hostels any more but there was very limited options in the area. There are lots of pluses- very clean, tidy, well organised, nice Japanese style futon room was comfortable, desk, hanging space, good wifi, good kitchen facilities, free laundry, 2 ladies showers for the hostel but I didn't have to wait at all. 2 toilets for hostel and didn't have to wait there either. However the downside is always the lack of consideration by other guests who talk...

"The onsen is excellent, the staff were friendly and very attentive especially the guy. My only concern was that the distance stated 1 minute walk from the station, no it is not, you have to take taxi or bus to the center"

"Surpirse tourist tax on arrival. They assumed because we were of western orgin that we would only want breads for breakfast. They offered thr rest of their guests a Japanese breakfast (which we would have loved). The website didnt state they had cats. I am very allergic so it made for an uncomfortable stay. "

"Hosts are helpful and sent us instructions on the day we checked in. Not really a hostel per se, no cooking was permitted. There was also some charge for disposal of food waste. There was no lighting at the car park area with portholes, so checking in after sunset could be challenging."

"We enjoyed every second at Heart’n Tree and around. Sashiko made our stay very pleasant. She’s a good cook and she gave us a lot of good advices on where/when to go to get the best viewing spots. "

"期待通りの建物、設備、インテリアでした。表面的に形を整えるだけのホテルも多い中、きちんと本物を揃えて品がよく、お料理も最高です。接客が不親切みたいなレビューがありましたが、押し付けがましくないサービスなだけで、客が求めれば気持ちよく対応してくれました。確かに接客要員全員がホテルマンとして同じレベルかというと、そこまでではないかもですが、でもそれはそれで人間味もあり、ホテルというより別荘的に考えると全然気になりません。 あちこち移動せず、ここを拠点に自然の中でのんびりする旅を季節毎に楽しみたくなる素晴らしい、日本には滅多にないホテルだと思います。この機会に狩猟かフライフィッシング始めようかと思ってしまいました。"
