"I needed a convenient overnight stay near Heathrow and really didn’t fancy spending it with one of the big hotel chains so we tried the Ostrich. Typical old pub, lots of character and history. "Used as a base for rugby at Twickenham and it worked well with free parking and a two minute walk to the station then 25 mins to Rugby. Bar closes early on a Sunday but we found other places to eat and drink. Room was good and variable floors are certainly interesting but nothing dangerous. Staff we met were pleasant and breakfast good. Overall good value and would recommend/stay again."

"Very pretty, clean and well equipped room in a beautiful Country Pub setting. Good selection of breakfast items (I didn’t have the cooked breakfast) Lovely, warm room with fab shower. There was a quiz night when I was there but nothing could be heard from the room. Very friendly staff. Couple of very small things to note, The room I was in got very noise when traffic started to pass along the road to the front.
