"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Healesdale House. The property is attractive, well-appointed, and the breakfast items are a hospitable touch. The house is close to most everything in the Yarra Valley, but tucked away in town just enough to feel calm and quiet. Our host was readily and helpfully available throughout. He offered great recommendations for local businesses and wineries (though all of the cellars we visited were terrific.) We would gladly stay at Healesdale House again! "

"The accommodation was clean and tidy. Great views and the kangaroos on the property made the experience special. "

"This is a very special place if you're looking for a place to escape the city and find serenity and peace surrounded by nature. The view from the balcony is wonderful - it's not one of those elevated views where you look into the distance, but instead you have the orchard below you and the edge of the forest beyond that. And you can watch the sunset in the evening. The cottage itself is comfortable and homely. Highly recommended."

"My family celebrated some milestone birthdays with a long weekend away at this spectacular house. The house is a truly remarkable achievement. They have managed to maintain a high level of luxury and comfort while being completely off grid and remote. We visited in winter and were always warm and comfortable. "Property is advertised with the BBQ. Unfortunately we were told after purhase of our stay in order to use it.. you have to purchase the BBQ pack for $145 dollars. I have very specific dietary requirements and although there is a fry pan inside.. this left a very sour taste in my mouth that we werent allowed to use the BBQ. Just seemed petty and they failed to acknowledge this as unfair or sneaky. Wont be back "

"We loved Riverdale. Great little escape and the kids made their own fun collecting firewood and going for walks around the property. Close to everything you need to access but far enough away to be completely alone! Would recommend."

"Had a great four night stay here while our floorboards were being done at our house. The host had great communication and was happy to help us out with setting up our dogs in the yard and ensuring we were happy. Place was warm and clean and close to a dog park which was excellent. Plenty of nice touches in the unit that made the stay comfortable and the host was keen to make our stay pleasant. We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend."
