"The hostel is very close (a few minutes on foot) to the beach and to the town centre (important: for the town centre go the opposite way from the way to the beach:) You will get there in a few minutes on foot rather than half an hour or so going in a long circle - as I did with my kids! - the other way). "We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!"

"The place had a nice calming vibe and was well situated near the docks/city centre. The breakfast was delicious but paying for it in advance, it seemed like the same rate applied to children/adults but at the hotel there was a reduced rate for children. There were a few occasions where our orders were misunderstood, but aside from this the service was excellent. The loft room was very nice and we had a nice view out to sea. The master bed was nice and soft and the loft space bed was hard...
