Not sure how to determine when you book but I booked this room having read about some low ceilings and I happened to get one. It is more like low duct work. It didn't bother me as I am 5'2". The bathroom is pretty spacious but found it odd that the shower drain was clear on the other side of the wide space so the water had to travel pretty far and doesn't drain too quickly so don't leave anything anywhere on the bathroom floor that you don't want drenched. The room is a bit damp bec there are no windows. There is a vent in the bathroom which helps it dry fast, but the bathroom and room have matte paint which will probably become moldy pretty quick in time because the lack of ventilation. Staff was satisfactory. I didn't eat the breakfast but could hear the silverware hitting the plates since the eating area was right outside my door. Not so much the voices though. Location was good but a bit dark at night. If you walk out during the day, it is 99% men on the sidewalks, I was told bec the street buys and sells jewels so they are all there for that. Tip: have the front desk hail you a taxi. Other times I've been to and from the airport from downtown, it had cost me 7,000-9,000 kyat but when she hailed the taxi, he only charged 5,000 kyat
