This cozy, relaxing, and comfortable home in Yachats is a great place to enjoy a nice beach getaway. With plenty of space for four people, dog-friendly attitude, and even a private hot tub, you will feel right at home here!

Located about five minutes north of Yachats, this home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only a three-block walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach! Spend your mornings beachcombing, looking for tidepools, and walking along the sandy shore, then head into town for a nice lunch at a restaurant and some gallery browsing!

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home easily accommodates four guests, and you are even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply)! Your furry friends will love walking on the beach just as much as you will.

Inside, a colorful and warm color scheme will greet you. Sit in the living room area and pick a DVD to watch (or bring along one of your favorites), play video games on the Nintendo gaming system, stream Netflix, choose a board game to play, use the Internet to look up activities, or simply sit and enjoy the crackling warmth of the wood-burning fireplace.

The full kitchen has all major appliances, so cooking during your stay will be a breeze! When it's time to head to bed, choose between the room with the soft, full-size bed, or the second bedroom which has a queen-size bed and a door that opens up to the deck. Head out to the backyard for s'mores at the fire pit.

Outside you will find a lovely hot tub! Located under a roof, you will love sitting in the marvelously relaxing hot tub anytime, especially during one of the coast's frequent rainstorms - just imagine listening to the rain bounce off the roof while you relax in the hot tub!

This home would be a perfect budget-friendly way for a small group of people to enjoy a beach getaway. Yachats has plenty to keep you busy, but if you start to yearn for a larger city, head north about 25 minutes to reach Newport, where the aquarium, antique shops, and huge variety of restaurants will certainly keep you entertained!

When you're ready for a nice vacation to the coast, this lovely home in Yachats is ready and waiting for you!

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

The key code to enter the home was inaccurate and it took a little while to get the correct one, but eventually we got in. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay.

Hot tub was gross
Everything was fine except the hot tub. We tried to use it on the first night and immediately after getting in, my wife and I felt slimy. We checked it out in the day time and saw that it was not clean. My wife has pictures of it. I messaged Vacasa and they told me they were reaching out to the local manager, no one ever replied. I tried reaching out again and received no response. We couldn’t call anyone since we did not have service at the house.

What a scam! Absolutely horrible experience!
Let’s begin with the fact that we have never experienced this situation with VRBO or Vacasa in the past. We have had wonderful times, and have rented over 15 houses for family occasions and just to get away for my husband and myself. This time the house smelled horrible, the house is nowhere near the beach or town as advertised on VRBO. The photos are not updated, for the “seclusion” noted in prior reviews is no longer there. There are houses on all sides of the house and the neighborhood was very sketchy! We couldn’t possibly stay there, and I contacted the owner, VRBO and Vacasa immediately after we left. After waiting for a long time for a definitive response I finally was told that the owner would not be reimbursing us at all. This is a total scam!!!!!! Get people to rent the property without seeing or being told the truth is not possible with this owner. Wondering how many times this has occurred with other renters. They are taking the money probably hoping that the renter will not stay and because the refund is no longer returnable, you have no recourse. And they keep your money. With us, it was over $700! Maybe they should have a clause in the agreement that after someone says they can’t possibly stay there due to the conditions of the house, the owner should fully refund the funds paid for the entire stay! You will be disappointed if you rent this house! Undeniably the worst experience we have ever had.

Great place to stay near Yachats
This was a perfect place for me and my best friend and our two pooches to stay for the weekend. Check in was easy and contactless which I love. The WiFi network listed at the property and in the instructions did not appear on the WiFi networks on our devices but there was an open network that worked. I didn't love being connected to an open network but it wasn't a big deal, we only used it for streaming. Very close to downtown Yachats, the water, ideal location for our trip. The yard is fully fenced which was so nice for our pooches. We didn't use the hot tub during our stay but it looked very nice. The property is older but clean and well maintained.

The trip was awesome. The house was so clean. We loved it. It was right outside of town but so secluded. It felt like a cabin. The only thing was the light in the bathroom. The cover was hanging. We took pics to show we didnt do it. Overall, it was clean, welcoming, quiet and clean. We will book again for sure. 😊

Upon arriving the house was spotless. Whoever did the cleaning did an awesome job. The hot tub was a relaxing way to end the day. Lots of hiking and outdoor options just a short drive away. Only complaint was lack of hot water in bathroom sink.

I’ve been waiting to put off this review thinking Vacasa would do right by their renters. They did not. My partner and I were looking forward to a 2 day vacation at the beach. We rented this place for the hot tub very specifically on November 17-19, 2022. Our problem was apparent as soon as we arrived. The home was not preheated for guests. It was 40 degrees inside and it takes a long time to warm a whole house up to 70 degrees which is what my partner is comfortable vacationing in. We went to dinner, hoping it would warm while we were gone. It did not. We thought, “Well at least there’s a hot tub. Let’s use that.” The hot tub was LOCKED. No lock code was supplied and so we contacted Vacasa. Because my partner is often more cold, she had brought a heated blanket with her, our saving grace as we were already wearing jackets inside. By the time we were supplied a hot tub code we were already turning into bed for the night. The house had heater, oven, and bedroom wall heater on and we weren’t warm until about 2 AM. It really just killed our mood the first night there. Our second night was lovely since we had the house heated and the code for the hot tub. But this brings me to the customer service aspect. I requested a refund for only the first night as I would have simply stayed home if I knew we were going to be that cold and without a hot tub. The total of the 2-night stay was nearly $600 so realistically, I was requesting about $250 back. I got passed around to multiple customer service representatives for over a month. In the past week I finally spoke with Jeff, a supervisor for Vacasa, who said he was going to advocate for me. This was my 5th or more phone call I had made to the customer service line, already investing hours of my time just to get a refund on one night. Jeff supplied me the final decision today, that after everything, including all the time I spent advocating for a single night refund, they’d be providing me a $112 check. $112 after being charged nearly $600 for 2 nights. $112 after I spent approximately 4 hours of my own time talking with customer service over and over and being ignored. What a nightmare for customer service reasons. So just know, if anything ever goes wrong at your stay they will not care about you. They will not care at all. If everything goes great, you’ll enjoy your time but if you need customer service, don’t count on being helped or compensated.

Cozy cabin!
We loved staying at this cozy cabin with hot tub! The heat was turned on (the outdoor lights were all off, so it was hard to see to unlock the door) when we arrived, and we really enjoyed the open living/dining/kitchen area. We brought board games and never turned on the TV! It felt so good to warm up in the hot tub after exploring the beaches and watching storm waves.

Hot tub and BBQ didn't work! Noisy neighbors!
We gave this place a poor rating. The hot tub was broken, just basically worn out. The control panel was broken. A good portion of the jets were missing. The pump would not prime, so the jets wouldn't work anyway. The water was dirty. The lights were burned out. We tried to use the BBQ, it lit ok, but after 45 minutes of cooking the meat was still raw and cold. We had to use the kitchen to finish the meal. The beds were terrible. They were so hard and uncomfortable that we didn't get a good night's sleep the entire stay. The house was ok. A bunch of daddy long leg spiders were on the bathroom ceiling. The neighbors were noisy. Chain saws were loud every day we were there, from 7am to 6pm daily. The guy kept driving tractors and equipment up and down the road. It was excessively noisy. I will not use Vacasa again. We are not wealthy people, and you would think that after spending $2000 for a weeks vacation rental, that you would at least get a place that was comfortable and quiet. And a hot tub and BBQ that functions properly. 😞

An adequate getaway that could use improvements
We did not have heat in our first night of stay in one of the bedrooms which was fixed by the local property manager the next day. The hottub looks nicer in the pictures than reality and it is really for one adult instead of two. The location is nice, the amenities were well covered but I think the posted price needs to come down.

Beautiful cottage in the woods near the ocean
This place is so private it feels like you’re on another planet. It was really peaceful sitting in the hot tub listening to the waves crash off in the distance. The area is really beautiful. Ended up being there alone because my sister got called in to work - no regrets on still going.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice place with many nice features. Some things to note, the propane tank for tye grill was empty and the outside trash can was filled. We could not put our one bag of trash out when we left. There was a small lamp in the living area that needs the bulb replaced. Just minor things. Everything else was perfect. I did forget my pitcher of orange juice in the fridge. 😕

I messaged several times before arriving asking if we needed to bring our own wood for the fireplace with no response. Upon arriving the house was freezing, heaters were old and didn’t put out much heat, and there was no wood to heat the house plus a big sign that said “instant logs only” which was upsetting because no store was open that sold them even though we went to town and tried 3 different stores. The hot tub wasn’t hot and we assumed it needed to heat up but the next day the temperature DROPPED down to 70 degrees. We rented the house specifically to use the hot tub in aid of some physical therapy so that was very disappointing. The property manager said they were out of town on vacation and was hard to reach. I will specifically be AVOIDING EVER RENTING A VACASA HOUSE AGAIN. It is always much nicer to rent directly from owners who take pride in their property. I suggest finding a local owner like VRBO and other vacation rental companies were intended for.

Disappointing! Do not advertise a Very Unsafe fireplace especially when you don’t provide anything to burn! It took 4 phone calls to get through to tell you about the fireplace and a cracked tile in the kitchen.

I don’t know how this house passes Vacasa’s rental criteria but, if you are looking for a clean place to stay, do not waste your time and money. What you don’t see in these professional photographs: gross carpets; filthy furniture; cobwebs, mold in bathroom; broken tile; unclean sheets; no hot water in bathroom sink; hot tub not sanitized; dead bugs in lights; broken lamp; no disinfectant; previous renters left dog poop in the yard (neighbors left passive-aggressive sign for us). Hot tub had no chemicals and was dirty! Where did all the ‘Fees’ money for cleaning go?? We didn’t even want to sit on the kitchen chairs!! Between the filth and the dirty hot tub it was impossible to relax. Contacted Vacasa immediately upon arrival about our doubts that the house had even been sanitized to COVID standards and (still) no response. Heed the reviews and do not bother taking a chance on this overpriced, underwhelming property.
