Delightful resort . Our one bed villa was a massive 120 sq m. The private pool was much more than a plunge pool. Cant fault the quiet but very stylish resort. Staff were knowledgeable and helped With any queries we had. Breakfast was extensive.

This resort is quality - we went for a Level option villa. One of the most spacious accommodation we have ever had! Even had its own splash pool at the rear of the villa. Food is good - both Breeza and Muoi were excellent - we only used the buffet (SaSa) for breakfast - and that was good. Note the resort gets busy at the weekend- so book your dining for Friday and Saturday nights. Staff are all polite and friendly. Although the resort is spread out -you can ask for transport around using the golf buggies!

Not as advertised as one of VN top ten resorts!!!
Melia Ho Tram is proud to be one of the top ten resorts in Vietnam. We read many positive reviews about the resort and so we chose to stay for 4 nights. However, we were quite disappointed with the standard as a five star resort. We did not enjoy our stay as we wished! The front counter service at the breakfast restaurant was not very welcoming. After we gave our feedback to staff at reception, the following days we were offered seating at The Level area. To us, this was unnecessary. On our second night, we had dinner at Muoi restaurant. We ordered three dishes, of which two dishes were not warm enough. We talked to the manager and the dishes were brought back to the kitchen and replaced, yet the temperature was still not right. Our excitement for dinner was diminished. To compensate our disappointment, the manager offered us a bowl of noodle and a dish of honey roasted pork ribs, which this time the temperature was right. Although we were not charged for the meal as a "compensation", our dining was ruined! As a five star restaurant and it is pricey, the food should be served at the right standard from the beginning. One day before we checked out, we found out by chance at reception that we could get 10% discount if we used HSBC card to pay for our meals at the restaurants. We were not advised about this at check in or at the restaurants. All we got was an apology and this matter will be brought to management to train staff properly! Melia, it's disappointing!!!

Like the suite layout, shower, breakfast. Didn't like limited drinking water in the room, no ice, condensation from the air conditioning, limited dinner options, staff attended to the table to often leaving us to feel rushed.

Although I was only here for a short time, it was probably one of the best times of my holiday. The staff especially were very friendly and always with a smile. I went in September was hotel was quiet than usual but I prefer it like that. Great pool, water sport activities, nice beach and the whole vibe of the place was fantastic

We only stayed couple of nights at the end of our Vietnam vacation. The property is beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was modern, big, clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we ended up there during the monsoon season so we only enjoyed couple of hours on the beach and by the private pool attached to the villa. Breakfast was included and was good, full of options. We were in the level villa and we could enjoy access to the lounge where we could enjoy afternoon snacks and drinks including alkohol. Other than that the property has only 2 restaurants that are quite pricey for Vietnam. But we really enjoyed our time there. We wanted couple of relaxing days after touring Vietnam for 10 day and we were able to relax! I was disappointed that in the villa only water was complimentary. We stayed in 4 other 5 starts hotels while in Vietnam and everywhere else snacks and beer was also complimentary.

Watch your surrounding while walking
It was amazing , nice place to stay at the villa. The bad things was no any other restaurant outside the resort, you are binding to dine inside the resort. there are 2 restaurants and the foods was costly. Be careful when you walk inside the resort especially at dusk , I saw a 3 feet black snake pass in front of me at the lawn and coconut fell off from the tree 6 feet on my side.

This suppoose to be 4 to 5 start resort Over all resort is very nice clean beautiful and comfort Only 2 things i think the corporate need to deeply consider otherwise the hotel will start losing its star rating to 3 star hotel For the amount of money paid the check process like a 2.5 to 3 star hotel. It is overcrowded overwhelmed the wait time to get room way too long alwaya close to 4pm as specified so dont expect to come around 2pm and think u can check in while check out time is 12 noon..no reason it take 4 hour to clean a room or they need to hire more clean crew.. Also way way too many group tourist booking which mean it bring many sorts of guest with different status meaning the atmosphere and environment is completely not the same as you would host typical guests who value and willing and appreciate 4 to 5 star hotels.. It just way too much it take away the ambiance of 4 or 5 star hotel resort And breakfast always over crowded have to wait for table and get inline for foods.. Just not the type of 4 star hotel im used to.. They just need to cut down the capacity.. Or soon this hotel will be down grade to 3 star The resort built way too nice and too pretty We are loooking forward to come back when we visit vietnam again but management need to deeply consider some improvement on guest selection..avoid tour group as much as possibly...
