Luis, the caretaker, and his wife were wonderful. They were really helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their son. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle, but very reliable Wi-Fi to stay in touch as desired."

"Mahahual is a great little village but now growing due to cruise ship visits. The house is about 8.5 k from the village down a very bad road with many huge potholes but we made it a few times in and out! The house itself was ok but it seems like it needs some TLC and maintenance. There is no oven or microwave so plan around that. There are many books however in a humid climate they suffer.
