"The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "The whole appearance of the hotel reflects its history. The room and bathroom was tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, i was able to store my bag after checkout until i was ready to catch the train. The dinner menu is limited hiwever thr food was tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and again tasty. I was able to get wifi in public areas but stuffled in my room, however i hasn't staying there for long. "

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Motel One

"Hotel was perfectly placed for Piccadilly station and the city centre. The hotel was very nice, well furnished in the public areas. The room was a good size for a single occupant. The room was clean and comfortable. Kettle was provided for tea and coffee. The breakfast provided was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming for a short stay in Manchester."

Beautiful Hotel

"Hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to main amenities.. The staff are very smart and attentive, particular thanks to Gary who is wonderful we got a lovely welcome from the him when we arrived. Also Kyan looked after us on reception. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Room was comfy and good facilities. We used the Spa which is really nice with a good sized pool. Would definitely recommend."

Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena by IHG

Enjoyable stay

"Difficult to navigate to the hotel as we were driving and so many one way systems, no parking at the hotel but we did unload the car, we had booked into a car park that was recommended and that was fairly nearby. Everything was within walking distance much easier than driving. The AO arena was only 10 minutes away to walk. Reception was speedy and the receptionist was helpful."
