Lake Wunderbar Wilderness Cabin

Welcome to the Wilderness Escape Chalet! Tucked privately into a wooded setting, this chalet is complete with a playground for the kids (one of two chalets with an outdoor play area!) And you will love the surprise hidden gem of this chalet -- Lake Wunderbar through the woods. Walk the short 1 minute path and you'll be greeted by the most beautiful lake, about 6 acres in size, completely surrounded by trees. It will take your breath away! Enjoy kayaking on the lake (we have 2 for your use and also a canoe), or simply sit in one of our chairs and enjoy the quiet of the water. Great for fishing and swimming, too!

Our Wilderness Escape Chalet is perfect for a family or friends' getaway with a master bedroom suite on the main level and additional sleeping areas in the loft with a queen- and full-size bed. Four-legged family members (no cats, please) are also welcome! (Nightly fee will apply) Back to the chalet, you'll find a full kitchen, two full baths, a great room and an expansive deck. The Wilderness Escape is intended to be just that -- an escape -- but we do offer WIFI if needed. The Smart TV features streaming services, and antenna-only local stations.

This chalet is on a septic tank and does not have a washer, dryer or dishwasher. The laundry facilities are located at the Charrette Creek Commons and feature two coin-operated washers and dryers are open daily from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. Available for use of property owners and registered guests. Detergent is also available for a fee.

Please note that we charge a one time property damage protection fee. This is actually a damage protection policy that protects you for up to $500 worth of coverage for any damages incurred because we know that accidents can happen.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. We do have early check-in options, but cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay. In order to respect the neighbors, our property owners, and Innsbrook Resort's rental policies, we do not allow large events or gatherings at our chalets (typically 10-15 people).
