"The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking."

"A very friendly host. Great location for walking on heath land and the Suffolk coastal path. Within easy reach of Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Thorpeness is a very interesting fantasy coastal resort developed for the wealthy in the early 20th century. Worth a visit for its architecture alone."

"The property and the location were second to none. James gave us recommendations of places to visit and some local eateries. The bedding and towels was very luxurious - bath sheets and lots of pillows! There were throws provided to cover the sofas so the dog could sit up with us too. The house was toasty, and to open the bedroom window and to hear the sea was amazing. "Beautiful house set in an idyllic location. Lots of lovely things to do in the house and plenty of room for a big group. The house had a lovely homey feel to it and we would definitely go back to stay again. A lot of time and care has been put into the house. The only slight downside, is that there is only space for 3 cars to park on the property, as the neighbours are very funny about it and only three out of the five bedrooms had the double beds stated, but it worked fine for us.
