"We stayed here to be close to Longleat Safari park for the weekend. After travelling down check in was amazing and really fast! The hotel is beautiful with lots of character in a quiet location. There is a restaurant onsite too. We stayed in The Coach House which is a lovely little annex. We stayed in room 258. The room was beautiful with coffee tea and hot chocolate. The only downsides are that the bed is very hard I found it uncomfortable. Room 258 is under the stairs and upper rooms so on busier nights it was quite loud and could be bothersome if you’re a light sleeper- it’s also ground floor next to the car park but this was fairly quiet! The shower is a fixed head not a wanderlead but the water pressure is good! Overall a beautiful hotel and we would stay again if the mattress was a little softer! Thankyou for a beautiful stay!"

"Secure Parking, easy check in at the bar (which encouraged me to order a much needed pint lol) with friendly service. Very clean and tidy room, comfy bed. Stayed and ate in the bar that night and had a tasty burger and chips. A stay that made me think next time I am down Frome way I would book here again without hesitation. "
