"Beautiful cabin and area! We stayed here for just one night (wish it had been longer). We chose it for its convenience between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. It became a little less convenient when we were forced to change route due to wildfire on other side of mountain. It became very stressful when we had to go over mountain while clock-watching trying to get there before their 7PM check-in deadline, with no cell service to be able to call them. "Very peaceful and relaxing place to get away. Jerry was very kind and welcoming and leaves a nice personal touch for his guests (I won’t ruin it for future guests). It is definitely in a very remote area. If you like the outdoors and are looking to disconnect, this is the best place. The Lake House has everything you could need, way more than any other places we’ve stayed in the past. Linda, the caretaker of the ranch, was absolutely amazing and we very much enjoyed meeting her. "

Great area, especially if you want to hunt or fish. Alice was great and willing to help with anything needed."

"The goal of the guy's trip was to visit Crazy Woman Canyon. The cabin location was perfect. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. The sound of the creek was awesome. Marshall was a great host always available to answer our questions. Look forward to returning again!"

"This place was awesome! The cabin location was perfect, right at the base of the mountains, and right off the river. We had a great time, saw plenty of wildlife to include pheasant, whitetail, mule deer, and turkeys every day. The cabin was very clean, and was stocked with everything you need to just stay all weekend. We never wanted to leave. We will be back for sure! "
