"Beautiful cabin and area! We stayed here for just one night (wish it had been longer). We chose it for its convenience between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. It became a little less convenient when we were forced to change route due to wildfire on other side of mountain. It became very stressful when we had to go over mountain while clock-watching trying to get there before their 7PM check-in deadline, with no cell service to be able to call them. "Very peaceful and relaxing place to get away. Jerry was very kind and welcoming and leaves a nice personal touch for his guests (I won’t ruin it for future guests). It is definitely in a very remote area. If you like the outdoors and are looking to disconnect, this is the best place. The Lake House has everything you could need, way more than any other places we’ve stayed in the past. Linda, the caretaker of the ranch, was absolutely amazing and we very much enjoyed meeting her. "

"Very nice property. Throw back to days gone buy. Real out house, no indoor plumbing, woodburning stove. But a few modern items like electric heat and lights,fridge, microwave and a glacier bay water machine serving up cold and hot water. I would recommend an outdoor table for cooking, relaxing and eating."

"What a wonderful place to stay! We stayed here with our six kids ages 1 -16 and left every minute of it! My teens caught monster rainbow trout in the Big Horn River, my little kids were thrilled with the secret garden, and we all swam for hours at Star plunge in Thermopolis! Beds were comfy and decor was charming!"

"This rental is a MUST!! The owners are so incredibly helpful and kind. The outdoor hot tub at night under the wide-open sky full of stars is incredible. The house is so cute and decorated so nicely. "The goal of the guy's trip was to visit Crazy Woman Canyon. The cabin location was perfect. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. The cabin had everything we needed and then some.
