"The room was as expected. Good location and views. Had researched this so knew parking was nearby which was fine. Obviously recently refurbished but it must have been on a tight budget. Everything seemed to be done cheaply and not very well. Disappointed that the decor didn’t do justice to such a historic building "

"We had a wonderful short stay at The Salt House.The property is a great size with 3 bedroom and entrance area is SO useful to leave damp clothes, boots and pushchairs. Large lounge and kitchen. Very well equipped. The en‐suite bathroom to the main bedroom has a shower and sink only, no toilet so need to use main bathroom. Location is amazing ‐ right in the midst of shops, bars, restaurants and 1 min walk to the harbour. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Ilfracombe. "

"The property is a listed building located on a hill overlooking Ilfracombe's harbour and coast. We had a top floor room affording good views (binoculars are provided). The bedroom was well furnished, bedding was spotless cotton linen. The breakfast menu was provided in advance allowing you to notify your order ready for preparation the breakfast selection and ingredients were first class. There are parts of Ilfracombe where some premises are empty and have been vandalised having a detrimental...
