"Wonderful location, beautiful,well equipped and tastefully decorated room and en-suite. Stunning views of Appledore estuary. Breakfast at the The Royal George, just a short walk away, was a brilliant start to the day, locally sourced ingredients expertly cooked, absolutely delicious. Definitely the best place to stay in Appledore."

"It’s proximity and convenience for us - and the help offered was superb. We’ll be back in Bude a few times this winter and had Sunrise been open we would have stayed there."

"Amazing b&b, the room was lovely and big, everything you could need was available to just grab. Loved the packed to go breakfast, especially the fact the hot food was farm fresh. Our daughter particularly enjoyed seeing the animals around the farm. We will definitely stay again, a big thanks to the owners"

"Lovely private room with en-suite which was annexed to the owners house. Had its own front door, so was completely self contained. Contact in advance was timely and informative. Friendly owner greeted us upon arrival and encouraged us to be in touch if there were any issues, which there weren’t. Room was perfect for our 2 night stay. Clean, well appointed with a huge, comfy bed and facilities for tea and coffee making and enough cutlery and crockery for a ‘bring your own’ breakfast. Driveway...

"Really warm, friendly welcome to a beautifully appointed home. Great attention to detail with stylish and interesting decor, spotless cleanliness, very Covid aware in a client- friendly way. Friendly atmosphere in the bar, and a breakfast to die for!"

"Welcoming hosts; lovely, spacious room; spotlessly clean; fabulous shower; the dog was as enthusiastically welcomed as I was; delicious, freshly prepared breakfast. I would unreservedly recommend this place and it was excellent value."

"Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable beds. Front bedrooms are a bit noisy as the property is on the main road, so had to sleep with the windows closed. Parking was on site, but a bit awkward especially if other drivers did not park in the marked spaces. Breakfast was ok, but a very strange system of ticking of choice of food on a blackboard, which was not very user friendly. Limited choice (e.g. only orange juice and only one cereal, only berries for fruit choice) and nothing left out to help...

"We were greeted by the friendly host, Chris who showed us around. We found Rosie's cottage exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The location was lovely and quiet and in a great position for visiting local attractions. We would definitely stay again."
