Lovely dog friendly 2 bed apartment on seafront

This fabulous cool coastal apartment benefited from a makeover and facelift a few years ago to enhance this already superb holiday home. All the beds have new mattresses, skandi inspired linen headboards and coordinating bedding. The lounge has new soft furnishings and had new colours introduced to the palette along with whitewashed coffee and side tables. There is a stylish and bright new dining table and chairs to complete the updated look.

6 Little Beach is a beautiful stylish contemporary apartment with stunning sea views from the main living area, sleeps 4/6 in 2 bedrooms and has parking, Wi-Fi and is situated in one of the most sought after locations in Woolacombe, on The Esplanade between main beach and Barricanne Beach.

Little Beach is a prestigious development of high quality contemporary waterside apartments situated in arguably the finest locations on the rugged North Devon Coast. The building is literally across the road from the award-winning golden sand Blue Flag surfing beaches and enjoys stunning uninterrupted views across Woolacombe Bay taking in the countryside, golden sand beaches, Baggy & Hartland Points, Lundy Island, Morte Point and the Atlantic Ocean. There are 8 apartments within the development, all of which have been individually designed and have a high specification with good quality fixtures and fittings including a well fitted kitchen, luxury tiled bathrooms, light oak wood flooring, gas central heating system and double-glazed windows. There is an allocated parking space at the rear and additional visitor spaces for the occasional day visitor on a first come first served basis. Within the communal area is a surfboard store cupboard.

The apartment is located on the top floor and has direct level access from the car park at the rear.
There is an entrance hallway with oak floor and a security intercom to both the front and rear doorways. The heart of the apartment is the superb and quirky, characterful 22ft x 17ft living room which has a lovely, very large roof window with a window seat underneath enjoying excellent views over the bay and golden sand award winning beaches. There are three further large 'velux' window which open right up and again enjoy views across the entire bay and golden sand beaches, Baggy, Hartland and Morte Points and Lundy Island. One of the 2 sofas is a sofa bed for an additional couple if needed. For entertainment there is a TV, DVD, Xbox and a few games, box of children's toys and Wi-Fi.
There is a well fitted contemporary kitchen with a range of white, high gloss base and wall units complimented by composite worktops and built in appliances which include a gas hob with extractor hood over, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The oak flooring continues through the entire room which also has a useful storage cupboard.

There are two double sized bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has its own en-suite shower room/wc with a modern white suite including a walk-in shower cubicle with raindrop head shower, low level WC and a hand basin with mirror over. It has a built-in wardrobe so ample clothes storage. The second bedroom has twin beds sleeping 2 with clothes storage. The family bathroom has tiled walls and floor and a modern white suite comprising a bath with raindrop head shower, low level WC and a hand basin with mirror over.

Woolacombe is popular with visitors from all around the country, primarily because of its award-winning blue flag golden sand beaches. In addition, the village is also surrounded by National Trust land which has miles and miles of walking along some rugged footpaths enjoying the magnificent coastal scenery. The village amenities include a variety of small independent shops, bars and restaurants and various other leisure facilities which include a health centre within a hotel and church. The nearest larger town is Ilfracombe being approximately 5 miles away and Barnstaple which is North Devon's main trading centre is approximately 14 miles away and has many of the big-name shops, a rail link and direct access onto the A361 North Devon link road which joins the M5 at junction 27.

This apartment will take a dog at a charge of £40 per dog per holiday. A £100 security deposit is held and released after the holiday.

6 Little Beach is a good value 2-bedroom seafront apartment sleeping 4/6 with modern facilities and great views. A great choice all year round.

Location!
Perfect location across from Barricane and Combesgate beaches. Property as described. Gorgeous views and plenty of space in the apartment. Easy to check in and out. Good communication in the run up to our stay. Will definitely book with Holiday Home Hunter again!

6 Little Beach
We were lucky with good weather. The downside was that the living room in the apartment was extremely hot. Only having blinds on one of the 4 large windows, which was not sufficient. The apartment was adequate, but would benefited from having a plug or washing up bowl. A dish washer is provided but we prefer to wash up by hand. It was disappointing to discover warn dirty clothes (from previous residents) stuffed down by bed. This made us wonder on how thorough the cleaning process had been. The allocated parking spot was impossible to get car into when other residents were there. Luckily there was adequate alternative parking. The apartment has a great position with easy access. The basket of goodies was a nice appreciated gesture

Amazing views

Brilliantly located apartment
This is a lovely little flat in one of the best locations for accessing the Woolacombe beaches and centre. It is well maintained and equipped and very comfortable. The only thing to note is that there is no outdoor storage for boards, and the hallway can get sandy and cluttered if you have beach things. We would definitely use again

No 6 Little Beach Apartment
No 6 Little Beach is in a fantastic position on the Esplanade Woolacombe; the sea being a stone's throw from the apartment and as soon as you open the window you can feel the fresh air and smell of the ocean - I have never stayed so close to the sea before it was fab! Hence watching the waves and the surfers through the window was an enjoyable pass time during our stay. The apartment had a pleasant warmth to it due to the light and sun coming through the windows and it was nice not to need the heating on as the apartment was always warm on our return from the days activities. The kitchen/lounge diner is a light, spacious room with a well-equipped kitchen (just needing a chopping board perhaps) The bedrooms were spacious and pleasant with with adequate draw/wardrobe space and there are excellent monsoon showers in the bathroom and ensuite. There are some lovely off-road footpaths surrounding the area for coastal walks and the apartment is in close proximity to shops, cafe's and facilities including the Tourist Information Centre. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is Fantastic!
We have stayed a few times at other apartments at Little Beach too. We come back because it’s such a fantastic spot for views, light coming in and ease of access & to car. Ideal if anyone needs good access. But there are 3 stairs inside that curve around down to 2nd twin bedroom and main bathroom. If you had a wheelchair. The price is good reflecting that this is not full of gadgets or smart floor in the main living room. The floor looks shabby & there is no radio or 2nd t.v in the large bedrooms. Requested a new frying pan be bought when we left as not suitable. As I say the price reflects this. I would always recommend this apartment-yes.

6 little beach - June 2021
Having had to rebook twice due to covid, we finally made it to Little Beach and Woolacombe. Generally a nice clean apartment, lacking the extras often get pre covid eg milk, biscuits etc. Location great for town, main beach and smaller beaches below it. One point to note is that it is hard to get anything bar smallest of cars into allocated parking spot when other flats are using their parking spaces. Extra parking opposite generally makes this a non issue.

Fabulous stay in woolacombe at 6 little beach
We had a lovely stay, great location we had everything we needed apartment was lovely with stunning views I can only think that any previous negative reviews were done to prevent others from wanting to stay here so they get the chance to stay again lol we would definitely stay here again if it doesn’t get booked up the only downfall was the parking spaces you can’t get a car in number 2 or number 6 if the other apartments are occupied and using their spaces unless it’s a motorbike but there are 4 other spaces as guests/spares just opposite for little beach which is what we had to use the whole stay this didn’t affect our stay but if another holiday maker takes more then one car could be an issue I’m sure this could be better configured, May lose one space but face them all like the ones opposite so you can get in and out easily. There is a storage cupboard in the double bedroom but it’s locked, again didn’t affect our stay there was a clothes rail and there is two wardrobes in the twin room. We had all we needed in the kitchen area utensil wise, there is an oven and hob and a microwave full size fridge freezer and a cupboard the other side with hoover and ironing board (iron is in a cupboard). Not many channels available on the TV but we bearly watched it there’s a console but we didn’t use this and free WiFi and a sofabed in the lounge (you can tell it’s been used quite a bit but is comfortable and it’s an extra bed if needed). Just for others information, the entrance is from the rear and starts from the top so we didn’t need to go up/down any stairs apartments 6,7 &8 are on the top 5 and under you would need to use the stairs there is a steep hill to get to the apartment we were fine with this but if you have mobility issues may struggle (there is always the car and there’s parking in the centre) We absolutely loved it here and hope we get to stay again in the future, thank you for the pretty much immediate response to my pain in the butt queries and for the fab customer service I hope my positive review doesn’t prevent us from visiting again :) xx

Holiday at our favourite place
Location is perfect for the village, cliff and beach walks and glorious views. The apartment is modern, the main bedroom could do with wardrobes and a set of drawers, and hangers for coats would be good. There is a car park space but as the info says it is very tight. We had a great time, just nice to get away in our favourite place. Booking is easy through Holiday Home Hunter

Fabulous half term break
A fabulous week spent at 6 Little Beach - location was idyllic and apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Please dont take this as a negative post just a recommendation but some coat hooks in the hall would be useful (it rained every day so we had no where to put wet coats) and also a couple of chest of drawers in the main bedroom as there was nowhere to put clothes away apart form 2 bedside tables

Location, Location, Location
Just had a great week away at Little Beach with our two dogs. The imposition of the lockdown, slightly spoiled our stay in Woolacombe but we adapted and made full use of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby. Access to Little Beach was easy and had a dedicated parking space. Not an issue out of season but I would say it is a major asset in busier times. The location was perfect. Literally walking out the front access door on to the Esplanade and then a short walk to the beaches or bars/restaurants in Woolacombe itself. We stayed in the top apartment which had beautiful views of the beach and the surrounding area. The apartment itself was modern and well laid out. Equipped with everything that would be required for a self catering holiday. Would definitely stay there again , and plan to do so when we can make use of the amenities that we missed out on due to lockdown.
