"The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base."

"The quality of the property, particularly the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, is a bit shabby - feels more like a 'Home of Multiple Occupancy' than a holiday cottage. The big living space is great, though, ideal for the ten adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen needs some TLC - the equipment is old and some of it not very good (the can opener doesn't work, the cafetiere leaks coffee grounds into your mug, one of the kettles is a bit ropey) but the mezzanine style works well in terms...

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"We had a fantastic stay in Sue's cottage, which is very well equipped. She had provided a lovely welcome back, which we enjoyed, and checking in and out was incredibly easy. It's a great place to stay to explore the area, and Sue has thoughtfully provided a selection of local walks, with print outs you can take with you, so we took advantage of that and had two beautiful walks around the area. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we're looking foward to returning."
