"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "A last minute break, The apartment was apparently newly refurbished and had all you needed for a long weekend. Nice lwalks in an area we love so will have Padley Farm in mind next time. Friendly greeting from the chickkies on arrival, thanks for the lovely eggs "

"Property is short walk into Mansfield town center. Apartment had all the amenities for cooking and laundry. Just downfall was no soap or shampoo or laundry powder luckily i checked in early too purchase so was not an issue but cloud imagine if i checked it late"

Excellent budget stay

"Have stayed here several times when visiting relatives in the area, the room is always clean with everything you need for an overnight stay. Beds are comfortable, there's a good hairdryer available, shower powerful and tea/coffee making facilities in the room - more milk etc available from reception as required! In addition the staff are always friendly and efficient. Plenty of carparking available, a bar open in the evenings and, whilst I haven't tried it, there is a very decent breakfast to be had. Very good price as well."

Lovely hotel

"This has been recently refurbished and made into a hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and shower was great. We have stopped in a few hotels in Sheffield when visiting our daughter and have always been slightly disappointed either with the rooms or parking. Parking is in the q park but if you book in advance with a code from the hotel it's way cheaper. The only down side was the breakfast. The food is a way away from the tables and you have to walk back and forward a few times if you are having your toast, tea and fry up. This was the only issue and this will be our go to hotel in future. "

"The hotel was really nice and the outdoor heated pool was a real treat even in March. We didnt have any treatments as we were only there to enjoy 1 evening child free but what we did see of the spa treatments and the facilities were very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and next to lots of good restaurants that were within 1 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Buxton in general. We will be back"
