"I arrived late and wrote the facility while I kept ringing the doorbell for 5-10 minutes. No one responded. I waited outside for about another 5 minutes until another guest allowed me to walk in with her. I had luggage and was obviously not a likely burglar. No one was at reception. A few minutes later Edel walked in and registered me. The facility was OK, but there is no lock on the shared bedroom door and it is right across from reception. "The hostel has a good location, with a lot of dining options within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and I found the hostel to be both clean and comfortable to stay in. Sadly, there was a problem with the Wifi during my stay, and it caused me some problems."

"A weight bench a one set of dumbbells is not a gym. I couldn’t vouch for access to the pool, because there was no one at reception during my checkin, checkout or stay. The signs say male showers are on each level but they are either on alternate levels. The showers are adequate but annoying that you have to exit the shower to turn them on. Suggestions, perhaps a shelf in the capsule to put charging devices on, and a towel. I thought towels were standard with ‘bedding supplied’ accommodation now!"

"Process checking in is not reliable though expected to self checkin. Signed document attached is also not clear. Poor checkin. Once paid one should be able to access code immediately not last minute. Wi-Fi at reception poor. Won’t recommend the place. "

"I didn’t check there is no female room in the internet, so we stayed in the room with some guys first day. But fortunately, staff helped us to change another hostel next day. Really appreciate!!"

"You get what you pay for. Beds have no privacy, blanket is incredibly thin, there's little to no sound isolation, and to be honest the rooms smell kind of bad. Lots of disrespectful backpacker-type tourists, many of whom don't respect the rules (including taking off shoes). "Strange experience- no one at reception for check in but mail had been sent with details. 3 rooms on one floor- not sure if they were all dorms but only one bathroom for us to share which was a little annoying! Additional toilets downstairs but a bit out of the way. Some sheets were not changed on beds as other people checked out which I did not like. No one at reception for check out so we just had to leave. Overall strange set up but location was ok and cheap for Singapore "
