The Neighbourhood
The Southern Highlands is highly regarded as a food and wine region. Mittagong, Bowral, and Berrima are the surrounding towns around the Artemis Cottage. You are
spoiled for choice with beautiful restaurants and cafes in Bowral and Berrima, both a 10-minute drive away. They similarly have great shopping, Bowral being the larger
town has some stunning shops and lots of picturesque wineries to visit, of course.
In Mittagong, you will find amenities such as supermarkets, banks, and hypermarkets. The outskirts of the Southern Highlands region are perfect for exploring, swimming,
and visiting waterfalls via beautiful walks & hikes and cycling.
Transportation
Being a small town, public transport in the Southern Highlands it’s quite limited. There is a taxi service here however with the large volume wait times can be quite
long. Having your own vehicle is highly recommended. There are also wine tour companies available
